within Upper River Yurok Reservation
Attention Residents: Positive tests for Phytophthora ramorum (Sudden Oak Death) have been confirmed in our community. This invasive pathogen threatens our local ecology, cultural heritage, and vital resources like acorns.
Stopping the spread requires a whole-community effort. We will share more information as we learn more. For now please avoid using the pull outs near these positive test locations to limit the transportation of S.O.D. spores.
